Gejia Village in Ningbo Ninghai County, Zhejiang Province, has assumed a completely new look after an art design campaign initiated in April by Cong Zhiqiang, Associate Art Professor from Renmin University of China In Beijing.
the villagers were encouraged to renew their surroundings with art. Almost all decorations in the village were made by the residents themselves, including pots, banks, lamps and pavilions. Now, the town has emerged since then as a popular rural tourist destination.
